One of my first CDs when I started listening to classical music. This track is from Berlioz’s “Tristia”, three pieces for voices and orchestra. Nos. 2 & 3 are after Shakespeare’s Hamlet. Nobody can tread so gently with meditations and reveries or swing so wildly in dramatic climaxes as Berlioz.
