I forgot to post photos from my trip in October to Lake Tahoe. This is Sand Harbor on the Nevada side of Tahoe. I have to admit, when I first started looking into visiting, I had no idea that one half of Lake Tahoe was in California and the other half was in Nevada ‍♂️ Geography isn’t one of my specialties.

Is anyone else getting SpongeBob vibes from this?

My Pixel 5 has been with me for nearly a year now. I’ve had it poolside, on hikes, in Death Valley, on numerous photoshoots, and on a road trip to Utah. It’s been an awesome phone - and the camera still blows my mind! With the new Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro coming out this fall and knowing some of the features, I have no doubt that it’s going to make a BIG splash

Late into the Of Montreal show the other night I remembered I wanted to play with the long exposure mode on my phone which is really meant for still subjects with moving backgrounds (think of someone standing in front of a busy city street) but I’ve wanted to use it at concerts, using the mic stand and lights as the stationary subject. I love that the phone seemed to capture the spirit of the moment in each photo; when Kevin Barnes was moving their arms the phone treated them like flowing ribbons, but when they were thrashing around on their guitar it treated it as frantic, windy motion. Pretty excited to keep playing with this
