I started watching Shadowhunters after all 3 seasons had finished (sorry didn’t read the books), so I knew about the Malec wedding and was semi-emotionally prepared for that. 

What I was not ready for was Clary asking Izzy to be her parabatai. I went from nothing to sobbing. 

I love the bond between these badass ladies, who are never slighted for being feminine, emotional, or sexual. Their friendship is always honest and compassionate. Honestly, one of the best female friendships on TV. 

If there is ever a season 4, I hope we can see Clary and Izzy becoming parabatai.
