After being killed by Nagini, Severus met Dumbledore in the bardo. He cursed him and broke his nose, refused to either go with him or go back as a ghost. He walked along the river that just appeared out of nowhere. The bardo, or his bardo looks like Cokeworth, but cleaner. The river seems to be like the same one he almost drowned in when he was six. Except it’s leading to somewhere he didn’t remember to be. He ended up standing on a seashore full of rocks of different sizes. And there was a dragon, white, and wounded, and blind. He sat down beside the dragon. There’s nothing to be worried about with a dragon when you’re dead. He wanted to heal the dragon, but he wasn’t sure if his magic was still working. So he did nothing. Just sat with a dragon and stared at the ocean.
