Winter term: day 48
A year ago today, Chris and I went on our first date. We met at a coffee shop that was way too fancy for either of us, and kept traveling across downtown Portland, talking for hours, refusing to be apart. There was so much laughter, exploration of each other’s secrets, hidden pathways, feet stomping, shared fries, and a goodbye I’ll remember forever. Because I knew something important happened. We spent today by each other’s side at #PodCon seeing podcasts that brought us together, meeting new people, and going to one of the first places we went to when we moved here. Meeting him was the best risk I’ve ever taken. Here’s to more years.

Winter term: day 47
