#post stuffing

Here’s a shaded commission I just finished up for @xavierknightsbridge here on tumblr of his OC warrior, Leonidas, nice and stuffed after a hearty warriors meal.  For fun, I also included the initial sketches and other phases of my Cintiq process to show you guys how my artwork comes about from beginning middle and end. 

When I get the greenlight from the Cintiq sketch, that’s when I start coloring things in.  And from there, I start resizing certain parts of the body using Mesh Editor on CSP, and cleaning up all the lines by zooming in real close, erasing the smudges and making everything look more tidy.  It’s the last phase that takes the longest, but I’m happy with how this one turned out and am glad the user enjoyed the final result as well!  :)

Working on a new Cintiq piece.  It’ll be the first time I’ve drawn Dabi in over a year, and especially with his canonical shirtless state.  (I’ll probably add a shirt in post)  But hopefully, by now, I can do this without driving myself insane.  I THINK I have a method of very easily drawing his stitches without it taking forever.  We’ll see. 

Got a lil something in the works for Pie Day.  And who better to celebrate the gluttonous occasion than the biggest pie glutton in all of NRC?  ;)
