yall talking about ppg reboots when there’s already a good one
I just want to say: if anyone is looking for a PPG reboot to watch, this is one that was done right.
For those who are confused or don’t know what this is, it’s a Japanese anime adaptation of The Powerpuff Girls that was made in the mid 2000s called Powerpuff Girls Z.
There are some key differences: they’re teenagers instead of kids, they’re friends with their own separate families instead of sisters, and they were normal girls who ended up suddenly getting their powers instead of being born with them(and they have secret identities). It also has an overarcing plot.
It’s still the same premise: three superpowered girls with pink, blue, and green color schemes fighting evil. But it’s told in a different way that’s fresh and doesn’t insult the original show. It was never officially released in the States but there was an English dub that was released in the Phillipines. I recommend watching the original Japanese with subs though as the dub doesn’t do it justice.
It’s been a long time since I watched the show but I highly recommend giving this one a shot.
Also the Professor has a son and a talking robot dog who is very cute and funny.
Haven’t posted anything on here in a while, so why not post up something I’m proud of that may actually get at least a tiny bit of attention? At least the Ladybug bit. Redesigning her outfit makes drawing her much easier.
