#princess connect re dive

Princess Connect!: Re:Dive is full of dumb outfits and the occasional boob bounce and the actual plot is incomprehensible, but it’s a lot of dumb, wholesome goofy fun for the most part, has awesomely animated action scenes centering on women, and Pecorine (the strawberry blonde girl) is definitely the actual main character with the show only putting up the most minimal effort toward pretending the guy in the group is the protag (he’s chill and goofy and barely talks, most existing in the background, making him infinitely more tolerable than every other male isekai protag on an all girl team). As such, It’s also WAY more interested in shipping Pecorine with the resident angsty catgirl, Karyl, than focusing on girls being interested in him.

This leads to some prime ladies carrying ladies moments, one of them is literally them running through a field of lilies, the audacity, but the full on princess carry after a bloody battle is sweet and dramatic and extremely gay too.

Anyway, it’s a good comfort watch.
