Qyburn is a monstrous person but I’ve always liked his gentleness with Cersei, wrapping her up after her walk, sympathising with her cut feet, leading her out. Their partnership is so dark but their bond is strangely heartwarming.

Say what you want about the endings some of these characters got, but Qyburn was killed by the rampaging product of his own hubris, and that is the most Mad Scientist way to go.

Eventually I couldn’t resist and redrew the scene leading up to this, again testing my inking technique and shading choices in order to approach the Theon comic with a clear intention. I took the MOST STUPID selfies to figure out the pose of Brienne scrubbing Jaime’s face, which in my case was a semi deflated gym ball (probably an accurate metaphor for Jaime in this scene tho)
