Here’s something new for today’s birthday celebration for Ralph Richardson. He was obviously a very busy person, appearing in the hit play “Lloyd George Knew My Father” and found a way to quickly respond to a reporter’s request for an interview by sending back the original letter with a note. No wasted actions!

Thanks to Tumblr for reminding me of my anniversary. Celebrating by putting up my very first post of Sir Ralph Richardson, which I believe was taken backstage at the National Theatre. Never thought I’d have a social media site and make friends around the world, so thanks to everyone who has followed along and also love Sir Ralph for their kindness and friendship. Cheers to all!

Behind the scenes during the filming of “Things to Come”—Ralph Richardson, resplendent in fur—has a bit of a rest while watching the next scene get set up. Must not have been enough time for Ralph to light up his pipe.
