#realism tattoo
It’s my first tattoo, and I’m no artist.. interested in your feedback about the technical skills and artistic execution that went into this, thanks! I only came in with the idea (a realistic monkey hanging off the back).
It’s definitely a monkey hanging off your back! I think it can be nice for artists when clients come in with loose ideas because they can interpret it and make sure you get something that works well. Which I think you did! The grays are really soft and definitely create a texture. I like the highlights in the eyes especially! And the artist didn’t go overboard with the black, so it won’t age badly (I know I always say to outline and use black, but too much black can also be a bad thing). I hope you like it!
