Love that the internet will tell. You mazda had to do a model recall because spiders were uncontrollably attracted to their cars in 2014 then you read more and find it happened before woth the same car company in 2011

Mazda spokesmen say “lol idk”

For those wondering apparently this breed of spiders fucking loves gasoline, mazda built anti spider springs to push them out and a software patch to. Do something with fuel pressure in case they did get in and weaved loads of webs that fucked up thr fuel capacity and no one knows why it was mazdas in particular that got infested

this is one of those problems you have to solve in a dream

Will Hill’s Pay for Selling Poison?

forThe Canine Review

Sherri Anderson’s Bichon-Yorkie mix, Daytona, was two pounds overweight when she says her veterinarian recommended Hill’s Prescription Diet w/d dry food for weight control. Twelve-year-old Daytona had been eating the Hill’s food for about three years when, according to Ms. Anderson, in late November of 2018, Daytona suddenly became ill.

“He was drinking and peeing a lot.…

The salmonella onion ban has informed me that about 50% of my mutuals had a nice soup planned that’s just RUINED now.

sorry the what now?

This is per the CDC, read any stickers they might have on them!

From the CDC page about this outbreak:

https://www.cdc.gov/media/releases/2021/s1020-food-safety-salmonella.html

“CDC advises people who have unlabeled whole red, white, or yellow onions at home to throw them away and not eat them. People should not eat, and businesses should not sell or serve, whole onions that were imported from Chihuahua, Mexico, and distributed by ProSource Inc.”

“About Salmonella:

  • Most people infected with Salmonella develop diarrhea, fever, and stomach cramping 6 hours to 6 days after eating contaminated food.
  • The illness usually lasts 4 to 7 days, and most people recover without treatment.
  • In some people, the illness may be so severe that the patient is hospitalized. Salmonella infection may spread from the intestines to the bloodstream and then to other parts of the body.
  • Children younger than 5, adults 65 and older, and people with weakened immune systems are more likely to have severe illness.”

Hey y'all. If you have an Oculus Quest 2, or know someone who does, please pass this link on to them. People have been seriously injured by the foam on the headsets which goes around your eyes - their eyes swelled shut, some report vision issues.

My wife’s face got really jacked up by hers - thankfully just skin irritation - and it’s taken it several weeks to heal.

You can go to your account on oculus and if your cover is one of the ones that’s recalled they will send you a free silicone cover to put over it

Yeah, sorry, I should have been more clear: the link to get the silicone cover is in the article. We had already got them bc my wife just figured it was her sensitive face, but like… please, y'all, don’t use your headset without a cover or an aftermarket face pad.

Andall Oculus Quest 2 headsets are affected - or at least, they’re behaving as if this is the case. The stuff I’ve read on it is that there was just something in the manufacturing process, and they’re not even like… stopping production to replace the reactive face padding going forward… just to put the silicone covers in the boxes! Which … okay but maybe don’t… send out the toxic face padding things at all, Facebook?

And yes, whoever RB’d this surprised that Oculus is Facebook: it surely is.

[Image Descriptions: A tweet from Alice Wong saying: “The delights of being disabled: I found out the BiPap machine I use at night and day (both models) are RECALLED (US only). Due to disintegrating foam inside!! That people…who need respiratory support…are breathing in.” A retweet from Erik Ekins (QueerlyAutistic) saying: “The fact that people are finding this out through Twitter, about the machines that literally help/enable them to breathe.”]

SIGNAL BOOST for anyone who needs to see this:

Here’s a link to the recall page:

Current as of June 14, 2021. Tweets are from June 15 and June 16, this reblog is on the 18th.

Also, the tweet says “recalled (U.S. Only)” but the article says “recall notification (U.S. only) / field safety notice (International Markets)”, so I’m guessing it’s not that only machines sold in the U.S. have this problem, just that the terminology of the required warning varies country to country. This is probably worth looking at even if you’re outside the U.S.
