Whumpee awakens each morning with a jolting panic attack. Every dream is a nightmare, every darkened room is filled with fevering hallucinations and cruel voices.

Caretaker starts leaving a lamp on, draping their jacket over it to keep a dim light. Yet every morning, they still find whumpee curled at the very edge of their bed knocked out asleep after hours of being too afraid to close their eyes.
