I was planning to use my torch to bring out the grain the in wood, but I am out of oxygen for my O/A setup and just used the acetylene, which creates a lot of soot from its flame. The wood looks totally charred before wiping the excess off. This was tonight’s result of “acetylene soot” treatment and a little bit of follow-up sanding to create a vintage look.
