Can someone tell me what reverse oppression means?? People keep saying I believe in it and I don’t know why because I don’t even know what it is??
“people treat me unkindly for this part of who i am” does not inherently equal “i am oppressed for this part of who i am.” oppression is a force that systematically, institutionally, socioeconomicallydisadvantages members of one group and benefits members of the out-group.
if you’re going to be talking about privilege and oppression, you have got to understand what those concepts actually mean
