This one stings a bit! Roy was one of my favorite trumpet / flugelhorn stylists out there! I wore the RH Factor out when I worked at Verve Records! How he fused hip-hop and soul with jazz was quite beautiful! Man, he was just 49. This is crazy. Thank you for blessing us with your incomparable talent. Rest well, Brotha Roy.
