Today is such a beautiful, sunny day here and yet so bittersweet and sad. This loss is devastating. A truly crushing blow that defies words. To us, Ruth Bader Ginsburg was a brilliant woman we considered an inspiration. A true superhero. Tiny but tough. Phenomenally smart. An amazing defender of the law. Gutsy, fearless and tireless.

She truly gave it her all and took upon her the heavy weight of our collective fears because it mattered to her and because she understood what her death would mean to us and our future.

There are many ways all of us who looked up to her can honor her life now. We saw this quote of hers today and thought, it’s all in there. She not only told us but she showed us.

“To make life a little better for people less fortunate than you. That’s what I think a meaningful life is. One lives not just for oneself, but for one’s community.“
