I feel like if the NXX went out on a group mission, where they didn’t split up, and something happened that caused Rosa to feel frightened or threatened, her knee jerk response would be to reach for Luke. It doesn’t matter how close she is to the other boys, she’s most comfortable and most familiar with Luke. They’ve been together since childhood and bc of the nature of their relationship, she’d undoubtedly rely on him, whether she means to or not. If something were to happen, something that causes stress or anxiety, it’s not uncommon to look for people or things that are familiar bc often times familiarity brings comfort. So it wouldn’t be strange for her to look for Luke in such a situation.
To add, on more than one occasion it’s been stated that she feels safest, and most at ease, when she’s with Luke. He’s been the most reliable person in her life and his presence alone puts her at ease. She knows that her safety is guaranteed if he’s with her, he’s her comforter. Now, Artem also holds a similar position in this regard, but I’m more inclined to believe she’d subconsciously rely on Luke a lot more than Artem simply bc Luke has been the person she’s depended on since childhood.
honestly same. with Luke I feel like she can be herself too. I know she trusts Artem and they definitely formed a bond outside of work but there’s still some hesitation since he’s her boss.
