Henford, the awesome countryside world, perfect for medieval sims. Well, if it was not for the annoying NPC:s, running around in the totally wrong clothing. Here is the solution:
Agatha, the Crumplebottom girl who settled down after an adventurous past. Her cousin Agnes, who took the veil. Agnes is the moral backbone of Henford.
In the zip also a default replacement for the Crumplebottom’s Flower Shop Stall.
All the other NPC:s also got appropriate clothing. This default replacement set works without hiders - take out hiders of these outfits, if you have them.
And there is a Default Replacement for the Grocery Store stall.
Then on Saturdays is the famous Finwick Fair. If you are not careful, the participants will show up in UGLY MODERN ATTIRE. When the right way is to get your Rooster Outfit, in the right Henford colors.
This part of the set do need hiders, and I added a zip with hiders for the Cottage Living clothing, (the NPC:s above in the post excluded.) Unzip and place in your Mods folder, preferably in an Overrides-folder - read more here.
So I personally can’t get enough when it comes to random pieces of paper stuck to the walls of my fantasy Sims’ dwellings. My vampire mage is quite chaotic in his organisation.
These are all basic recolours, EA mesh, with Public Domain images from The British Library - I’ve not made my CC downloadable before, so let me know if you encounter any problems. You can resize these to give you larger or smaller pages (use the [ and ] keys in build mode), and use the bb.moveobjects on cheat to position them however you like.
Downloadhere - please don’t reupload or pass off as your own, the usual.
TSM Blacksmith Outfits for all ages, updated and improved
There are two blacksmith outfits for female, and two for male sims, in the Sims Medieval. I find them very useful for all commoner sims, peasans, workers and so on. Not only in medieval sim times, thet are almost timeless :)
These new versions have better meshes and textures. There are also more variations. Files overall smaller because the kids versions as well as the variations take their textures from the original one.
In this set:
- TSM Blacksmith Hood for adult females - with the original shorter skirt and tools - TSM Blacksmith Hood for adult females - with longer skirt and tools - TSM Blacksmith Hood for adult females - both versions but with no tools, - Versions (4 different) for girls, 1 for little girls
- TSM Blacksmith Collar for adult females - with the original shorter skirt and tools - TSM Blacksmith Collar for adult females - with longer skirt and tools - TSM Blacksmith Collar for adult females - both versions but with no tools, - Versions (3 different) for girls
- TSM Blacksmith Vest for adult males - with or without tools.
- Versions (4 different) for boys,
1 for little boys
- TSM Blacksmith Rolled Sleeves for adult males - with or without tools.
- Versions for boys
All merged in 4 files. The variations and kids versions take their textures from the original version. Unmerge if you need to merge with other packages, or edit in any way. I recommend to keep the files together.
(If you have the earlier version for kids you can keep them.)
Sims from the Past made the original - I fixed the dress mesh and added versions for kids and toddlers, and 50+ swatches (swatches from original also included). I also edited and recolored the hennin and included a plain version (I mean, you don’t bring your pearls everywhere, do you?)
The necklace has also got some additional recolors and a new specular.
The palette used is my usual one.
This version matches a lot of dresses from the period.
The files are merged - all ages and versions together. If you want to edit or remerge them, unmerge first. The kids and toddlers versions take their textures from the adult version.
All credits for the original meshes to Sims from the Past!
Another early conversion, now with better mesh, better textures, more swatches.
And I added versions for kids and toddlers. This is a dress to dress up in, for a fair or a party, maybe?
Kids and toddlers versions take their textures from the adult version. I merged them into one package, if you want to edit them or remerge them, unmerge first.
Continuing the improvement and updating of my older conversions - here is the Bartender outfit with better mesh, better textures and more swatches.
Kids and toddlers versions have also been updated and now they take their textures from the adult version. I merged them into one package, if you want to edit them or remerge them, unmerge first.
This outfit is also a good cold weather outfit for sims in the winter.
Another lot, and more CC. All the CC you see here is used to make this house. I’m re-making Windenburg into Crestwood-Lake Calenhad-Kinloch Hold area of Ferelden. The “Garden Arch” also functions as a wedding arch.
This is absolutely not perfect at all, but at the time I did this, I couldn’t find anyone else who’d made this type of dress for TS4 yet, so I tried my hand at it anyway!
I used the Historian palette for the swatches, and as the Norse people actually enjoyed using dyes and colors in their clothing quite a lot, it was kind of impossible to think of every possible combination ever. So I didn’t. I only made 26 swatches, and as there are way too many variables going on with the design here, I included a .psd file as well!
