I’ve been absolutely in love with the dark academia aesthetic lately but when I browsed dark academia CC I couldn’t really find much to decorate my Sims’ homes with, ( not much that wasn’t locked behind a paywall anyway ), so I decided to recolor some of my favorite modern decor pieces in more vintage looking colors to fit the dark academia vibe. This set was quite a bit of work and would have never been possible without the generous TOUs of the original artists.
This is a maxis mix set. It contains recolors of both maxis match and alpha cc so there’s something for everyone.
IMPORTANT NOTE: All of these objects are recolors and need the original meshes to work properly in your game, so make sure to download the meshes linked below.
Mostly low/medium polycount, there’s a few high poly stuff like the Work Hard Shelf (15k polycount), Plant Vase 1 and 2 (10k), Maneki Neko succulent (16k) and Desk Chair (13k).

This set was so much fun to make. I went out of my comfort zone and tried bringing more realness to the Sims 4. I really hope you all enjoy this set. I took a lot of you guys’s ideas and implemented them.
