Is that I’m always going into small YouTuber spaces trying to like create connections with people.
Like we all obviously (at least) enjoy video making right? Surely we can maybe make connections and give each other back and forth feedback.
I make a post saying something like “hi, I’m new here and I’d love to meet new people and here’s my youtube channel!” expecting to get some kind of conversation going but then my comments just fill with “sub 4 sub” and like
The thing that annoys me so much about the whole “sub 4 sub” thing is that if I like your content/am interested in it/we become friends of COURSE I’m gonna sub your stuff. But like, why would I automatically sub to a bunch of channels I don’t care about just because you’re gonna sub to my channel and possibly never watch any of my vids just bc you wanted another subscriber?
That being said, I love finding new YT channels so if anyone sees this and wants to promo their channel I’ll check it out. I’m not promising to sub to any of them but I will at least watch a couple videos and see if I like it and if I do I will sub. So please feel free to comment telling me about your channel and I hope you’ll check mine out as well
