#scad animation
Finally cut a new reel! This one is basically the draft for what I’ll graduate with. 90% of my portfolio is my published illustration work, and my objective with this is to start showing off my other capacities. As much as I’m interested in big name studios, I’m interested in smaller companies who need a multitude of skill sets too.
I’m hoping to add some time lapse process work into the concept art section while adding more concept to 3D model examples. I’ll also have a lot more animation work complete in the next few months since we’re just about to hit production on For Luna.
WIP of the apartment. Made a rough proxy of the floor space, then rebuilt in photoshop so I can fully concept out the room.

Finally had a chance to get some time off after an extremely busy year, I’ve been catching up on sleep as is, but I had a day where it rained for the whole day, just 100% rainy mood day. It alone recharged my energy for 2019, so I thought doing a piece on it to get back into things made sense.
Side note: This is the first time I have ever gotten Photoshop’s hard mix filter to do something I liked.

My SCAD Senior Film!
Synopsis: In a dry, dying world, Sasha, a sailor of the dunes is searching high and low among the desert, searching for water to plant a rarity of this world…a small withering tree, before it dies. She is willing to risk anything to succeed in her mission.

Here’s another senior film I worked on! I animated the shot of Sasha waking up near the end and did quite a bit of the effects animation for the boat hitting the sand and the sail.
Hey everyone! My senior film, “Erin”, which I finished last year, is screening at the Lucas Theater in Savannah, GA tonight at 8pm! A parting gift for the crew of “The Armadillo Who Lost His Shell”, an amazing film my Digital Cel Animation II class and I made together. I had a blast working on it and it looks fantastic. Look for it at the SCAD senior showcase in May, but for now, here’s Erin with the cast of the film!
