She bursts into the hallway. “What the hell is going on?”
“Morgan. Language.” Eyes wide, Nate nods at two equally wide-eyed children.
“What are they doing here?”
“Solomon asked me to watch over them.”
She raises an eyebrow. “But what are they doing here?”
“Ah, they… escaped when I was distracted.” Nate smiles fondly and Morgan groans. The girls run away once more, shrieking with laughter.
