hanae-ichihara:

Hi! This is Hanae! I’m here since 2012 and I’ve already seen many difficult things to face here. But the Anime Fandom has always been the strongest and most unified one no matter what happened. Since 2021 I’ve seen terrible things happening…from people copying one another to arguments to find out who edited first a certain scene and got more notes. It has become a stage for war! People aren’t creating for love anymore but for popularity and when people create for love and not for popularity someone comes (content creators or not) to criticize the person in trivial ways, discouraging the content creator and making them unmotivated to continue creating.I’ve already talked to many people who got discouraged to create just because of this kind of upsetting behavior from people who try to judge or criticize something that doesn’t even exist. These kind of people start a conspiracy about something that doesn’t exist, which makes the creator to feel like they did something wrong. Well, what I mean to say by this outburst of feelings and thoughts is simple: I miss the love (and respect) that we had for each other, the love that we had for the work of each other! When here was not a war stage and there was none of that nonsensical arguments that belittle the work of who is always giving their best to bring a smile to our faces! We are in a critical and very difficult moment, since last year this pandemic has taken its toll on us both psychologically and physically,  and I believe that here (Tumblr) is a place where we can forget about reality and be happy. Sowhytheoppositeishappening?Whyarewefightingeachother?Whenweshouldbecheeringupeachotherandgivingsupporttotheblogsthatmakeushappy? I wanted to write a post about this for a while now…and today I found the courage to do so. Just read and reflect on it! I only wish the best for all of you and all of you are really important to me! Thank you for taking the time to read this. You can share this post if you think it’s relevant to you, let’s spread love not hate.
