ALIVE as a CHRISTIAN

“The way dedicated Christians feel #ALIVE is unlike others”, concluded @irma_hope on the survey she conducted to compare dedicated Christians and non-dedicated ones as well as the non-Christians. “Others feel alive by world’s recognition of who they are, and at this point it is the absence of money, love, and prestige that keep them away from feeling alive. On the other hand, dedicated Christians feel alive when they are submitting themselves to God; what keeps them away from feeling alive would be the struggle against their human nature: laziness and tendency to compare themselves with others.”

The point of the survey was to reflect on our spiritual growth in Christ: “On what excites us and what makes us feel alive, are we closer to those dedicated Christians, or others?”

How to feel more #ALIVE living our lives as dedicated Christians?
#1 Abide in Jesus
John 15:4-5 Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.”

#2 Know That You Are Special/ Precious
Isaiah 43:4 Since you are precious and honoredin my sight, and because I love you, I will give people in exchange for you,
    nations in exchange for your life.

We are created by Him and what is created by Him is loved by Him and designed to do good work for the world. We are given #talents and let’s not waste them.

Ephesians 2:10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

#3 Do What We Love with Passion
Colossians 3:23 And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men.
