I love that people are criticising the Russos for deliberately tearing apart the canon of a prominent character (Thor), just so he can be narrowed to only their vision and in effect, refuting the creative decisions made by Taika Waititi, an extremely talented MoC. I wish people had the same energy when criticising TLJ, in which Rian Johnson deliberately set out to narrow down the screen time of multiple PoC characters because he didn’t know what to do with them, and then bolstered the screen time of the neo-Nazi allegory character. But those are my thoughts!
