Once upon a time I had some fun editing sims 1 UI files
And it turned out that it was quite easy to do so, but I stopped half way.
Two weeks ago I took upon myself to try and complete it and I did! So here it is, I’m posting it here for all of you people that still play this awesome game to use.
Installation is very easy. Just open the downloaded .zip file, then place UIGraphics folder from it to your game install directory.
Then, in the zip file, choose the resolution that you play your game in, and again, place UIGraphics folder from the zip into your game install directory.
There are slight aretefacts with the UI that cannot be ironed out sadly which is a darker blue tone in relationship panel, and some icons having darker background, but most of the UI elements have been changed, and these are just minor oddities that you’ll barely notice during regular gameplay.
So… this is Tumblr and this is now my Simblr. Neat.
To get myself properly settled in here, i’ll be posting the first “release” version of my custom Sims 2 Launcher i’ve been working on for the past few months/weeks:
A beautiful jacuzzi made. Round - not sharp, angular - shapes. It works perfectly both at home and outdoors. However, this cannot be put at home and you must use the bb.moveobjects code for this.
Modular sofa (Set Milas - Modular Sofa) made of high-quality mesh and texture.
In addition, the recolor (Set Milas - Modular Sofa - Velvet Recolor) of the sofa’s elements is covered with a velvet fabric, which - unfortunately - looks dirtier than soft. But it still has quality.
First of all, the cables are very nice. It’s nice that they go beyond the plot, so you can put a complete series of posts on the estate. The object is also available in subdued colors. It shines gently at night.
The set of fireplaces looks fantastic in the game. The fireplaces are made of high quality and - most importantly - work properly.
Probably many of you have been unsuccessfully looking for these fireplaces. I found it for you (and tested it of course), but it is available on the page where an account is required. The link didn’t work in the Download section, so I am sharing it here. On the other hand, in the Download section you will find direct download links.

The modular sofa (Tiramisu living set) is made of the highest quality. Masterpiece! In the game, it looks spectacular. To connect the sofa elements you will need to use the bb.moveobjectscode.
The shelves and tables (Tiramisu consoles) are of excellent quality and adhere naturally to the sofa set.
I love sectional sets, which offer a lot of possibilities and stimulate creativity.

WOW. This is really good quality. Thanks to this set of garden furniture, you can create a beautiful composition.
Some of the cardboard on the inside of the circle do not connect to each other properly - which is also visible in the photo above. The roundings are smooth, which is rare with such shapes.
The elements are present as a whole and separately - which is a huge advantage. Separate elements are combined by using the bb.moveobjectscode.
Test result High-heeled shoes look exactly like in the photo above. The shoes are slightly heavy and the cork is crooked, but maybe that is because of the cut, not the shape of the mesh itself. However, I downloaded it not for the shoes, but for the socks. It is also worth adding that the shoes - despite the fact that they are included with the socks - deform them.
The socks are of fairly good quality. Logos and other details are symmetrical and not stretched. The downside is that the blending of the textures on their sides is visible because they don’t blend together. Despite this, socks are the only part of the set that is worth downloading. My SImy will wear it.
Sneakers in the desired quality. Made with attention to detail. This is in proportion to the foot and does not change its size. Finally Nike Air Force One that looks good.
The swimsuit / bodysuit has a high-quality texture. The net is made quite well, it has smooth edges. The cut of the panties on the sides of the hips is a bit crooked, but this is probably a deliberate effect.
Suit and pants made of high-quality texture. However, the mesh has multiple translucent flaws and the finish is sharp.
The only thing that deserves attention is the leg bracelet, which is also available as a separate item. It is tight fitting and made to a high quality.

A small shoulder bag made of fairly high quality. Some blouses may change the color of this, but that’s normal when using mods. It only fits well with tight to moderately tight clothes.
The cut of the set is of fairly good quality. A slight tear in the fabric on the back top of the shoulder strap resulting in part of the skin being visible - but very little. The logo is legible, but the letters are not the same height everywhere.
