We have come to the end of our holiday gifts, and we’ll end it with AN INCREDIBLY LONG post! Naturally. ^^ As you can see, these are recolors of Skell’s European Santa Robe completer set (1). I think I tweaked most of the meshes involved and ADDED ELDER VERSIONS because I’m nitpicky and want my elders to look like elders. Adult and teen meshes have all morphs. As usual, they come in my “clothing colors 2″ palette (2). I have also included adult-only and elder-only versions of Skell’s original colors if you want:

For everything else, you have FOUR options for each age group of recolors: townied (your townies may randomly spawn wearing a santa suit) vs. non-townied (if you want your sims wearing a santa suit you have to dress them that way yourself) and fewer files (all recolors bundled into three packages based on color palette instead of 56 individual files) vs regular (56 individual files). Having more than one won’t blow up your game, but it is TOTALLY UNNECESSARY.

How about wall lights that come in a variety of colors? ^^ To make it easier to sort through all the options, the Sled Track WALL Lights are slightly variegated, and the Sled Track WHITE lights are plain. You can have all four recolors pictured above in your game at one time, no problem, but I think you’ll need the Happy Holidays SP for them to show up.

SO! I got inspired by my last followers gift when I remembered K8 had also created this interesting furniture set! (1) So, if you want a kitchen in matching colors, you can pick it up here (2). I probably could figure out how to repository some of these recolors together to make them less files… but I didn’t so if someone wants to do that, please send me links when you do! The exciting thing I did learn how to do was recolor the glass, which will definitely come in handy for upcoming recolors. ^^

There are two options for colors. The Oxygen White RCs ONLY recolor the white edges. All the green details in that first picture come as part of the Dark RCs. Like with the Oxygen kitchen set, the edges are intentionally darker than my usual AKOSR3b colors (3), to contrast with the grass/cloth, which is in the normal AKSOR3b colors. I have included the tweaked versions of the meshes that I used for recoloring, but if you want the originals and/or K8′s very cool recolors, please go check out her site for them (1). ^^

Well, in response to @technomatri‘s request to @sims2packrat, I offered to try recreating Snapun’s missing Helga 70 hair recolor. 5280 years later, I have finished it well enough and I am washing my hands of the project before I toss my computer out the window. I thinkit turned out ok in the end, but I’ll let you be the judge. ;;>.>

There is now only ONE caveat: this is a VERY OLD hair… and so the texture was drawn on instead of meshed on, and (like many old hairs) was therefore not optimized to stretch around sim heads. Thus, the texture is a bit muddy on the back of the head (as you can see in the third picture), but it works… fine… as long as you don’t look too closely.

(2) As you can see by the fourth picture, it does not play well with my CAS lighting. It seems to do fine in-game and in body shop, so I’m just going to point that out and move right along. (The original hair also has this problem, but I don’t have the time or inclination to figure out why.) A HUGE thank you to @goingsimcrazy for telling me in the notes how to fix this problem! The file has been reuploaded with the fixed mesh. ;;;>.<

I’ve included both the base I used and my mess of a photoshop file that I was using to try to recreate it, if anyone else is inclined to take a whack at it. Teen-Elder, in the pooklet naturals/binning/etc Snapun used.

The month where I celebrate making it halfway through the year by recoloring a variety of hairs that are not whatever Peggy hair is next alphabetically numerically. >.> And first up is this lovely 3-for-1 deal!
