Scalloped edging on a fleece throw made for a baby girl. The background is actually an olive/avocado kind of green but photographed very light. The person that bought this fabric also chose the rainbow yarn, which like my last border - had large expanses of colors that needed a crocheted blanket to show off the rainbow color as striped rows. Also, the purple faded into an orange, so there was a large section of yarn that was a funky brown - who wants brown in a baby blanket? I clipped that one out and went straight to the pure colors.

Latest crochet project. I wasn’t sure if one skein would go all around the blanket twice, so I did the single crochet base row in a neutral gray and used the variegated yarn I picked out for the double crocheted scallops. Since the color changes were very close together, it came out in a camo-like effect. For a sportsman friend of mine.
