My Haunt Couture Skelita design! I wanted to take another crack at it, after examining the canon HC designs. The Haunt Couture designs are pretty much remixed and amped up versions of the signature looks; Frankie’s sheer puff sleeves became sheer bishop sleeves and her plaid dress turned into a big plaid skirt etc. Keeping that in mind, I went about remixing her signature/Scaris look.
I like the Scaris look but comparatively, it’s a little unfocused. The proportions of the black dress and papel picado skirt are almost exactly the same and the brown of her cuff, shoes and belt aren’t enough to mitigate and unify them. I took inspiration from some images of vaqueros and adelitas, and turned the dress into a Western style shirt, with some suede fringe on the jacket and cowboy boots. The skirt pattern was referenced from a couple of dresses from Mexico Fashion week, a bubble skirt to help give her skeletal frame some volume. Making it a pattern also unified the colors.

Together with the new minis we found we also found some HQ Images of Minis that have been announced, but we never got clear pics off. We’ve added them all to our Minis Database. :)
