skin preview OO1
as promised, we have our first preview of our shiny new skin. we are still working on on filling in some blanks, dotting some is, crossing some ts, and ironing out some kinks but this is what the main banner will look like.
the skin was custom made for the site by the lovely poppy, and if you ever find yourself in need of a custom skin … we would highly recommend working with her. she was so willing to put up with our demands coming from five different admins (mostly allie) because we all like different things and have different voices (mostly allie), and the end product is really lovely and we can’t wait to showcase it to the world when we do our reopening! u w u
so just some neat features on the main banner that is previewed above that we absolutely love.
- convenient side navigation bar that scrolls with you to help for super quick navigation
- the skin color changes depending on your member group, ditto graphic
- a spot for us to put the current season / weather
- easy access to the latest announcement
- everything feels really fresh, clean, tropical, and easy to navigate which is totally what our site is all about.
we will share more previews with you as we get closer to opening, so stay tuned!
