*She was back few days ago avoiding almost everyone. Not that she hand’t missed them, she did indeed, but this time she wanted to surprise the one she cared of the most, the one she could call her boyfriend
The decision was made just before landing, opting on message him few hours later; when he actually replied, always the gentleman, he let her decide when and where to meet letting her know that he missed her very much and that, maybe, he had a surprise waiting for her.
..
After a month away and alone..she feel different, excited and incredibly nervous too, eager to see her lovely captain and his handsome face again. Doing everything right this time, her hair, a different and lighter make up and a new dress, she is on her way to their reunion date hoping that he’s as happy as she is.*
Keeli felt like he might jump out of his skin with excitement. He was at last going to see the love of his life again. He nervously ran his fingers over his vambrace, while carefully holding the flower he had bought for her*
Keeli, kriffing calm down already. You’re gonna lose it.
Keeli did not bother trying to calm down, but he tried to stay still, and be patient.
Oh, I can’t wait to see her again.
The place they agreed on was located right in the middle of the upper levels, a large square with wide decorative pillars in between, near the barracks where Keeli’s battalion was stationed.
She had just arrived and was already searching for him admist the people passing by..
Kark it! Where are you?
She cursed under her breath, looking around while fidgeting with the fabric of her dress.
Maybe he changed his mind and reconsidered all of this..maybe..
But she didn’t even finish the thought that he saw him, sitting in a corner, deep in his own thoughts as always. She wanted to surprise him, so she made sure to not to be seen while walking towards him.
Once there, she gently tapped on his shoulder, then waited for him to turn around.
Keeli was looking around anxiously, tapping his fingers on his vambrace unconsciously. He did not see Imalea, and nearly jumped out of his skin when she tapped his shoulder.
Where is she- “What the-!” Keeli jumped to his feet and turned around, eyes widening in surprise when he saw that it was Imalea.
“Hey, cyar’ika.” He said, smiling brightly. Keeli pulled her into a hug, and kissed her cheek lightly.
“I missed you so much, cyare.” He whispered.
“Oh..” she exclaimed, stunned by the sudden eagerness of her Captain.
“I…i can see that” she said smiling, only to blush further when Keeli spoke softly to her…” i missed you too out there” she then added, clutching onto him a little more.
They stayed like that for a moment, in each other’s arms, happy to be finally together again as those passing by started to give them funny looks.
“So, something i miss while i wasn’t here? Everything alright?..“ she asked, moving back a little only to be able to look him in the eyes, with one hand cupping his cheek while the other stayed on his shoulder…”..anything odd?”
“Nothin’ interesting happened, that I know of at least. Was pretty boring here without you in fact.” He said with a half smile.
“Oh, by the way, I have something for you.”
He held out the beautiful red flowers wrapped in the blue flimsi tissue for her.
“Sorry if blue isn’t your favourite colour, I couldn’t remember what your favourite colour was. Sorry.”

Lotsa life events (including an impromptu cross-country move, which was a solid decision it turns out). Been super overwhelmed. I’ve missed some messages it seems, I am so SO sorry about that, I’m reading them now (SO SORRY).
