I’ve officially finished all of the busts for the game tonight!
Though I’m sure a handful of these will eventually get some changes (that’s game dev for ya) it feels really good to finally see the core cast of the story like this…

This is by far the largest cast (24!) I’ve attempted to work with in any story I’ve written, and it’s been a really interesting experience. One of my current goals is to try and make sure every character feels unique and like they get their own spotlight– which can be tough!

But, that’s also part of why I’ve put a soft cap on what characters are in the game, since theoretically, I could go on forever.
I wanna write stuff where you revisit areas or different characters reaction to different events, or even just the little friendship scenes.

But uh, with this many characters and this many smaller stories inside of one big one, you can see how I’ve already managed to write 72k words! It’s been wild, y'all.
