I suppose when it comes down to it, my favourite games are the ones driven by indie auteurs. There is always something fresh in these games, if not in gameplay, then aesthetics. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don’t, but it’s always an interesting and unique experience.

iOS is rife with these game, produced by teams of one or two people.

I am more excited about playing these tiny little games than any of the ones I’ve seen for the next-gen consoles.
