every day i get closer and closer to unironically writing desert duo fanfiction

rewatching 3rd life and trying not to think about how maybe by the end scar understood there was only one way out of this world, only one way for it to end.

and how maybe he betrayed grian at the very end, because just maybe he thought it would push grian over the edge enough to make him kill scar. because scar wouldn’t bring himself to kill grian, and knew it had to end somehow. and how even when it didn’t work, when grian still couldn’t kill him, scar didn’t even try. he hardly even pretended. scar could not and would not kill grian. don’t touch me I’m mourning.
