I’m a big fan of spooky gone vintage, especially when it juxtaposes New Orleans-style. I don’t know why, but I’ve always been fascinated by the bayou (aka, the swamp that makes up most of Louisiana). When they get to the bar scene, the singer reminds me of “La Calavera Catrina” from Dia de los Muertos lore. They may be dead but those swing dancing corpses are so chipper about it all.
