For no real reason, I recently had a wave of nostalgia. I think it came from seeing some old paintball magazines in Facebook. It got me thinking about the first times I played paintball in Saskatoon at Splat City Paintball with my friend Geza.

It must have been 1994 or 93. We had his grandmother drive us, she was under the guise that it was an art class to paint wooden balls, or something to that effect.

We paid our admission fee, were issued a cover all, hopper of 50 paintballs and a Tippman SL68 pump paintball gun, then set off to have the time of our lives.

Good memories… And these two guns I purchased, a VM68 and Tracer II, were two guns that I used in my early years of paintball.
