“Thelast clone, I think. We found him in cold storage.  He’s a medic… but the way he fights… you’ve never seen anything like this.  No one has.. not in a generation, I’d guess.  And he’s so angry and he’s so sad.  He used to have millions of brothers… now he’s the last.  But he still hears them.  They whisper to him.  He’s still fighting his war.  I don’t think he can ever stop.”

HOLY SHIT, THIS COMIC JUST MURDERED ME WITH KIX FEELINGS.  KIX, WHO WAS FROZEN IN CARBONITE AND WOKE UP FIFTY YEARS IN THE FUTURE, WITH ALL HIS BROTHERS LONG DEAD, EVERYTHING HE KNEW HAD CHANGED TWICE OVER, AND THERE WAS NO ONE LEFT TO WORK THROUGH IT WITH.

ALL KIX WAS LEFT WITH WAS HIS OWN GHOSTS AND THE MEMORIES OF A WAR HE CAN’T STOP FIGHTING BECAUSE HE NEVER GOT TO SEE IT END AND NEVER GOT TO SEE HIS BROTHERS FINISH IT OR EVEN LOSE IT, THERE’S NO WAY TO GET HIS HEAD AROUND IT WHEN IT’S ALL JUST GONE.

HE GOT NOTHING.  NOTHING BUT THE GHOSTS OF HIS OWN PAST.
