#stardew farmer violette
Violette may or may not have tripped while holding a bomb and blew up a portion of her farm…
She just doesn’t want to worry Harvey. You know he’d lose it if he found out the wife was inches away from death… again
Anyways, I’m among the many people who have accidentally placed and activated a bomb while trying to interact with something on the farm. I’ve done it way too many times than I probably should have hehe. Not my proudest sdv moment but it does make me chuckle thinking back on it… I destroyed so many of my mayonnaise machines…
I want you to take a break! I’ll do the farming!
Harvey asks Violette to take the day off and relax while he takes care of the farm for the day. Violette is very hesitant being the workaholic she is but eventually gives in and agrees. She tells him that she’ll be watching him the entire time and will be there if he needs any help… only to immediately fall asleep in the nearest clearing (yeah…she’s that sleep-deprived). Harvey figures he shouldn’t disturb her and tries his hand at her farm errands… it’s time to put those basic farming skills to use!
He may have underestimated how much work she actually does in a day but he’ll do whatever he can to make Violette’s day a little easier. (He’s trying his best don’t bully him).
Once he wraps up the berry picking (after 4 hours of counting bushes and back pain) Harvey wakes up Violette to inform her that he’s officially done all of her chores. In a drowsy haze she’s bewildered that he did ALL of the chores by himself. Violette furiously apologizes for accidentally dumping so much of her workload onto him (and for falling asleep) but Harvey insists it’s fine and that he’s always happy to help her. He tells her that the most important thing right now is the fact that she was able to catch up on some sleep and rest her body.
The two notice it’s getting late. Harvey mentions heading inside for dinner but Violette hints to him that she’s too comfortable and groggy to get up anytime soon. She’s going to stay outside and nap for a little bit longer. Harvey just thinks “oh heck it, I’m exhausted, it’s still warm out too. Food can wait ” and asks her if there’s room for one more in the clearing
What if we sat outside of our farmhouse at dusk after a long day of work and I fell asleep on your shoulder? Haha jk… unless…?

Gifts for Dr. Harvey!
Despite her impulsiveness, Violette often overthinks things that involve winning over Harvey’s heart. She made a gift basket as a gesture of admiration for him but she quickly starts having second thoughts when the time came to drop it off. After many minutes of Maru telling her that everything will be fine, Violette eventually gives her gifts to Harvey but proceeds to leave the clinic as quickly as she entered. He didn’t even have a chance to thank her (he was a smiling mess but Violette left too quick to notice)
Harvey sets the basket down on his table upstairs and appreciates the gifts in peace once work is wrapped up for the day :) He now wants to do something nice in return for the local farmer but he’s not sure what to do…
I am the absolute worse at writing and grammar so I apologize for my awkward dialogue/captions. I didn’t want to write or type too much so I tried to be as brief as possible!
