Excited to see the announcement of new show, Star Trek Prodigy and the return of Captain Janeway! Last year, I participated as a director and had a chance to work with many great talents over at Nick. Can’t wait to see it on my big TV with some popcorn.

If possible, I’ll try to share some animatic footage soon but here’s a few screenshots from the opening sequence of the Star Trek Prodigy pilot (directed by Ben Hibon) that I began contributing to at the beginning of 2020. This was my second boarding job after Rise of the TMNT and a dramatic change in storytelling style which was a fun challenge. Moving from a highly stylized 2d show to a CG pipeline gave me an opportunity to experiment with the 3d camera in storyboard pro which I’ve had a lot of fun expanding upon since. I learned a tremendous amount during my time working with Ben Hibon & the rest of the talented crew on this production.
