I’ve got mixed feelings on the whole “Each of the Funtime animatronics represent a member of William’s family” thing because like, yeah, it makes sense given how Elizabeth, Michael, and Evan are associated with Baby, Foxy, and Freddy respectively, and following that Ballora could understandably be read as the mysterious Mrs. Afton. But then what does that say about how William sees his sons?
Does he think Evan is an unhinged maniac of a child? Does he think Michael is just this absolute dandy?
Oh I had some similar headcanons, (TikTok link if you’re interested) but I went with more, each animatronic was based off ether traits or something the family member enjoy.
Like instead of Baby just representing Elizabeth, I went with Liz loving clowns or anything circus related.
So it maybe it might just be traits the animatronic had rather then William seeing his kids as the crazy’s that the animatronic had.
