I think P4P list, while fun, are ultimately dumb.

So I don’t know where we want to rank guys but there is a lot of great talent right now in the sport of boxing from. And guys like Naoya Inoue and Stephen Fulton deserve as much of your attention as whatever lightweight or welterweight or heavyweight that is in the news this week.

Well, that didn’t go the way I thought. Had it being more competitive but Fulton established himself as being a head and shoulders better boxer in there than Roman. Picked Roman apart at range. Refused to let Roman build any momentum. Had him eating the jab all night and that quick right hand. Made Roman pay when he came forward and swung at air.

If Murodjon Akhmadaliev isn’t on the horizon for a unification fight for all the belts at 122lbs, I wonder if Fulton goes to 126lbs for a fight with WBC champ Mark Magsayo. More likely that we see him face Ra'eese Aleem.

Fulton has Roman lost out there. He’s got complete control of range. Roman is struggling to find a target and corner Fulton to the ropes. He’s too predictable. He’s going to the body but his entries are too readable at this point. Would love to see him triple up on one side, whether it’s with the jab or the right hand. He needs to give Fulton something to think about.
