The right gem’s wings, petal like clothes and the two pieces of hair sticking out reminded of  fairies which in Celtic folklore are known for kidnapping people (It also reminded me of butterflies).  I even found out about Fairy Stone.

According to this website: “ The fairy stones of Northern Canada were discovered by the Algonquin Indians when they came upon Canada’s second longest river during a hunting expedition. Looking strangely like biscuits, they named the river Harricana, which means “river of the biscuits”, in the Algonquin language.” Maybe this origin story might explain why she controls water like Lapis. Now the left gem is big and blocky so my best guess is pyrite as its a mineral that naturally forms into cubes.

I quickly drew the two but it’s terrible and I highly doubt they will look like this
