In this episode of “Ask Us Anything” Sejeong told a story about how a junior of the music industry used to greet her very politely and respectfully while she was promoting as an I.O.I member. As for now, this junior scoots away and doesn’t greet her anymore. Sejeong was hurt by that and ended her story with the words “Popularity isn’t everything, right?”

Personally, the story made me sad and mad. It’s common courtesy to greet your seniors and it’s sad that she had to experience that. Being treated differently based on your popularity should no one experience but I’m quite sure a lot of I.O.I members have gone through that.
