It has the highest ever production cost in K-drama history (about 2.4 million US dollars per episode). For reference, Netflix original series Kingdom 킹덤 costs 1.6 million US dollars per episode.
It has already finished live action shooting in March 2020. Currently the VFX works are in progress.
p.s. The webtoon artists’ another masterpiece Bastard후레자식 has been adapted into a Korean movie for the past 2 years. We don’t know when we can watch the result. Bastard is also on English WEBTOON.
