Crown Princess Mary’s Double-Strand Pearl Necklace
This necklace, consisting of a strand of freshwater pearls and a strand of tahitian pearls with a sapphire clasp, was a gift to Crown Princess Mary. Prince Henrik, her father-in-law, gave her the pearls to celebrate her engagement to his eldest son, Crown Prince Frederik.
