#tale of the harbingers
Well folks, a few days ago I finally finished up this project! I’m very proud of the final result and it feels damn good to have a completed comic under my belt.
Tale of the Harbingers is a short lore comic about the world Stormfall, and its upcoming reboot, takes place in, but mostly this was an artistic exercise. If you like pretty illuminated manuscript style pages, ancient legends, and magic origin stories, check it out!

Hi everyone, a little happy announcement:
Rewriting Stormfall is going smoothly, but there are many changes in the worldbuilding happening, and I wanted to do a little something to help stretch my comic drawing muscles before getting back into it.
So, I’m announcing The Tale of the Harbingers! It will be a (relatively) short comic that goes through some of the new lore and world building for the world Stormfall takes places in, explaining a bit of history, religion, and the new way magic works in this setting.
As well, it’ll be a HUGE artistic challenge for me, as you can see from the cover page below, I’ll be aiming for this intricate, heavily embellished art style. The look for the entire comic will hopefully be somewhere between a traditional comic book, an illustrated storybook, and an illuminated manuscript. It’ll be interesting!
Lastly, because of the labor intensive art style and some more revisions that need to be made, I can’t as of yet guarantee a release schedule. But look forward to the first couple pages in the next week or so!
