InBeast of Beacon Hills, Marcel calls Theo “perfect evil,” in contrast to Mason’s “perfect good.” But what about Theo made him seem like a candidate for perfect evil? There’s nothing in the show that suggests Theo had done anything Evil™ before the Doctors tempted him with Tara’s heart—which is why I think it’s his acceptance of the heart itself that made Marcel believe he was perfect.

Marcel’s focus for the last two hundred and fifty years has been murdering and killing just to save Sebastian. He will cannibalize anyone, including himself, to bring back the person he cares about: that is what he considers ‘good.’ Reversing this, what he considers ‘bad’ would be letting someone you care about die for you.

Theo letting Tara die so he can have her heart therefore serves two purposes: first, to make him a genetic chimera, but second and almost more importantly, to “prove” he is evil since he let it happen.

Marcel misjudges quite a few things, obviously—murdering for love isn’t inherently good, and a manipulated nine year old isn’t inherently evil. Marcel will ultimately wind up dead at the hand of the friend he revived, but Theo will wind up alive with a pack of friends he once betrayed.

Does your heart really belong to you ?

“In the somber parts of his mind, Theo always knew that Tara would finally take back what was hers.

Because even if he could one day forgive himself for what he did to her, he didn’t know how he could use her heart knowing what he did to her.”

Theo’s Nightmare… will I ever stop ??

Listen… I really don’t know why I continue to do this. I guess it’s because I’m working 24/7 on my horror comics for school and I only think about drawings things like this anymore

Anyway, I’m very sorry
