Huh. It has been a while since you’ve went to Komore Teahouse, you miss it actually. With all things out of your hands, you’ve finally got the chance to do so. Stacking the last sheets of papers, you made your way out, the sun greeting you with beaming light, a smile forming on your face. The trip to the Komore Teahouse wasn’t far, so thank the lord. A couple turns here and there and you would arrive, doesn’t sound too bad, right?
With that, you walked along the paths of Inazuma, admiring the blossoms that proceeded to fall out of the trees. Another smile appearing on your face once again as a single rose pink blossom landed on your nose. Gently removing the blossom on your nose, you stared up. Finally, you’ve arrived. Surprisingly, the teahouse only let individuals who were approved by the Kamisato Clan to enter. Since you and Ayaka got along pretty well, she approved of you, meaning that you were allowed to enter the teahouse.
Making your way inside, you tilted your head over to the side. Huh.. you wondered where Taroumaru went, usually that shiba would bark everytime you ot someone from the Kamisato Clan would enter, perhaps a greeting? But.. in dog? You scratched your head, stopping in your tracks as you came across someone else infront of the table where Taroumaru would always be, back turned to you. That specific someone had dog-like ears, and.. a tail? Huh, they remind you of someone you know. You raised a brow, thoughts dancing in your mind for a quick moment.
“Perhaps the new boss of the Komore Teahouse..?”
“Or..”
“The general of the Sangonomiya Resistance?! General Gorou.. here in Inazuma City?!”
Confusion rushing through your mind, you somehow manage to shake it off. This doesn’t add up to you, how did the general of the Sangonomiya Resistance manage to take a trip here? it’s quite dangerous for him, considering the fact that he has a vision. Backing up a bit as you saw the person infront of the counter shift back, one of their ears twitched, a “swoosh swoosh” sound of their tail filling the teahouse as they turned to you, blinking.
“General!”
“General..?”
“Yes, General. General Gorou, what are you doing here? can’t you see that it’s dangerous for you to be here? In Inazuma City?!”
“..Y/n-“
“And what happened to your original clothing?! Why are you wearing red now? General Gorou, I need an explanation. Did Miss Kokomi send you he-“
You froze. Nono.. General Gorou wouldn’t just come here to Inazuma without an explanation. Gazing back up to the shiba on the other side of the counter, huh.. he surely doesn’t look like General Gorou. The tone of his voice doesn’t sound like him either, Taroumaru’s missing.. and that headband on his head, surely looks like Taroumaru’s. After a brief moment of thinking your ass off, you gasped. Could it be..
“Taroumaru?!”You practically yelled, the shiba on the other side of the counter caressing its ears as you yelled, squinting.
“I was trying to tell you, y’know? Yet you kept assuming I was a whole different person. And you kept calling me.. Gorou?” Taroumaru’s tail fluffed up, giving you a gentle grin. “Would you like anything at least? Some tea?”
“..Yes to the tea but..”
What the actual fuck. Taroumaru.. a human? Good lord what has life become to. Your mind was filled with nothing but questions, maaany questions. Your mouth hung open as you brought your hand up, your index finger pointing directly at the shiba.
“..You’re.. Taroumaru?!”
Taroumaru nodded, grinning as his tail continued to wag left and right, obviously enjoying your company and presence in general.
“..How the hell?”
Taroumaru tapped his finger on the counter, gazing at you up and down before he hopped over it, taking a seat on one of the chairs. He cleared his throat while patting the other seat with his hand, signalling you to sit down. Nodding, you did exactly what he wanted you to do. He cleared his throat once again.
“If I am being honest, I am not completely sure what happened fully, though I did fall over some kind of substance earlier on, as a dog of course. The scent of it was.. revolting. Revolting enough to make me fall into slumber. And.. here I am.”
“..Where and how did you even get these clothes? Were you just..”
Silence.
Silence taking over the whole teahouse for a hasty moment, Taroumaru let out a chuckle, gazing at you as he did so. Oh my god why did you ask him that.
“You have quite the bold mind, don’t ya?”
Your face flushed a deep red, violently shaking your head as you slammed it on the counter, groaning out of frustration, Taroumaru letting out another low chuckle.
“I didn’t mean it like that, it was a genuine question..”
He hummed momentarily after, you glanced at the entrance, soon glancing at him next. Taroumaru gazed back at you, giving you a cheeky grin as you stood up, his ears twitching.
“What are you up to?”
“It’s nothing special. Though.. I do wonder where this.. Hn?-“
To your surprise, Taroumaru grabbed onto your arm, pulling you towards him as he wrapped his arms around you. Your scent filled his nose while his tail wagged more frantically. Patting his head, he dug his face into your chest, causing a squeak to out of your lips.
“I apologize if this is quite sudden, i’ve always wondered how it felt like to hug someone as a human.” Taroumaru explained, chucking nervously. Gazing up at you, he rested on your chest, the blush on your face spreading further.
“..Ah. Hm.. How are you going to even turn back?” Internally screaming from how gentle he is with you, you began scratching his ears, catching sight of his tail wagging even more.
“I’m not quite sure myself, though.. I do like being a human already.”
“Ahaha.. with you resting on me like this?”
“Guess that’s a way to say it, It’s comfortable.”
“Hey, I thought you were going to serve me some tea? This is not apart of your work now is it?”
