The adventure zone - The Crystal kingdom

   “Pulled from my home inside a cloud
Lost to the dark I drift alone
Now I’m returned beyond the shroud
Ever to reign upon my throne
   Here in my crystal kingdom”

[Start I.D. 3 digital sketches of the scientist Lucas Miller.  The first is him from the shoulders up.  He is wearing glasses and a lab coat over a sweater, and his curly hair is pulled back into a small ponytail.  He is shaded entirely in pink.  The second image is of him sleeping.  He is sleeping on his side with his arms and legs pulled close, and is frowning.  He is not wearing glasses, but his hair is pulled back, and he is wearing a sweater with the sleeves rolled up, and pants.  Again, the whole sketch is shaded in pink.  The third sketch is of Lucas smugly walking by Magnus, Taako, and Merle, who watch from the background.  Lucas is wearing a lab coat with a couple pens in the side pockets.  He is also wearing glasses with his hair pulled back.  Lucas is holding three books close to his chest and has his eyes closed as he walks.  The sketch is shaded with pink. I originally drew inspiration for his hair from @halpdevon ‘s design, which i have to say i adore

I’ve always loved the ice robot scene, never fails to make me laugh

This first image is a sketch of Magnus floating through the air.  He is wearing a simple spacesuit with a round, clear, helmet, and is looking up in wonder.  His arms are close in front of him, and his legs are spread a little behind him.  The second image is also a sketch of Magnus floating through the air.  He is holding a shield in his left hand, and a fire extinguisher in the other, which he is using to propel himself forwards.  He is smiling with a determined expression as he looks to his left, and his legs are folded sort of close to his body.  End I.D.]

I got back to my re-listening journey through TAZ, and I am still in the Crystal Kingdom, so here are some more sketches from when they go into that zero gravity room. 

[Start I.D. The first picture is sketch of Taako and Hodge Podge, the latter being right in the front.  Taako is wearing a space suit with his hair in a bun, and is standing with his arms crossed and an annoyed expression on his face. Hodge Podge is facing towards Taako, away from us, and is saying, “Take-o”.  Next to Taako is the text “ok.”  The second picture is a sketched out scene of Merle with Hodge Podge.  Merle is facing away from us, and is standing with 4 fingers behind his back.  He is asking Hodge Podge, “how many fingers do I have behind my back?”  Hodge podge is facing towards Merle, and he replies, “that’s easy. 4″  The second panel facing Merle from the front.  He is holding his four fingers in front of his face with a frustrated expression, and is saying, “…damn” End I.D.]

I like the idea that Merle had to look at his hand again after asking Hodge Podge to make sure he had actually held up four fingers.
